That's. Nice stadium and all, but seriously when is the last time Kansas has had a winning season?

It's just bizarre to excite the fanbase.

If they said, we are spending $300 million to make Allen Fieldhouse - the Mecca - then fans could get behind it. Schools expand or modify b-ball arenas all the time.

Why is Kansas wasting money on a football team nobody in the entire known world cares about.

And not spending all the money on the basketball program? Go full Mark Cuban for basketball indulgence for KU if you are going to waste money on the goddamn football program. Which has 50 years of retirement papers.

FWIW Knew a guy who played for Mangino at Kansas and he said everyone fricking hated him and the team wanted him fired.

The most unrealistic part of that graphic was having fans in the stands.

What is Kansas supposed to do, not care about football?

This kind of project can only do you good.

KU gonna pass Mizzou in football. Just bite the pillow and think about basketball.

It's pretty crazy when a $50MM donation is peanuts compared to the $300MM he gave to University of Chicago.

Why on earth would you ever touch the main parts of Allen Fieldhouse. That’d be freaking idiotic. AFH is the best arena in the country because of its structure and the history. Changing either of those things would be the stupidest move any athletic department has ever made. The concourses are renovated regularly and are already top of the line.
