I was reffing a girls 8th grade game at St Martinville Jr High. They were playing Parks Jr High.
The score was
SMJH 8
PJH 7
There was 5 seconds left. PJH lost the ball out of bounds on their own end under the basket. All SMJH had to do was inbounds and run out the clock. They threw the ball in, the SM girl caught it and dribbled straight to the Parks basket, laid the ball up and ball was in the net as the buzzer sounded. Ball game, Parks wins 9-8.
The score was
