But but but the Pistons are doing so well without him

I still remember arguing the Pelitard who called this a terrible high risk move for Houston

Pistons are a much better team though, Josh smith may be playing ok on the rockets but he was absolutely terrible on detroit...

I know the Pistons are WAY better without him. He is a good role player for the Rockets.

I was just referring to someone who tried to argue that the acquisition was a huge risk for Houston

I was making a point that everybody looks to that and says he is a bad fit anywhere

He is a great fit as a role player that takes smart shots and plays within himself.

The issue is when he gets away from that and tries to do too much.

Just gotta hope as a Rocket's fan that as he gets more comfortable in Houston that he doesn't get too comfortable if you know what I mean.

He makes me nervous at times no doubt, especially when he tries to play point guard

He hasn't been doing that recently so hopefully he's getting it together for good

He can be, but he's not consistently. At his best, Josh is like Tony Romo. Does a lotta good things for most of the game (with maybe a couple manageable mistakes), but then you're hoping he doesn't make that one frickup in the clutch.

Yeah it really is. Smith is like a great reliever who was bad in the rotation or a running back who's great on passing downs but will never be a feature back, if we want to do weird cross sport analogies

Durant is notorious for overpraising everyone*.

I'm shocked at how well he passes the ball. Good vision and a very willing passer. But I'm getting real fed up with fall away 20 footers early in the shot clock. It would be one thing if he were really good at them and shot a high percentage, but he's not and he doesn't. He just can't help himself. He's shitty at free throws, but he thinks he consistently drain a much more difficult shot? Please.
