Headed out the door now to Keeneland for the Bluegrass. Something to calm the nerves before the Cats play tonight. Gonna take Zito's horse in the Blueegrass. Will stick with my Derby future bet, El Kabier, in the Wood. Won't play Santa Anita Derby, but think its time for Dortmond to go down.

I was out there yesterday. You are a brave soul trying to fight that crowd today. You couldn't pay me to go out there.

Husband kind of likes one he's got for Wes Hawley in the 5th up there. Tough race but he's sitting on a big one at a price. I'm gonna play him across the board. Distant kingdom.

And of course I'm working today

I like frammento too, but I'm thinking he'll be bet down a bunch after all the buzz about him this week.

Im looking at Tiz Shea D in the Wood but can see El Kabier winning too.

I think Dortmund and Carpe Diem win.

More interested in seeing if Frammento(needs 3rd), Bolo(needs 3rd), Daredevil(needs 3rd), Frosted(needs 3rd), One Lucky Dane(needs 2nd), and 888(needs 3rd) can qualify.

Aspy you still like American Pharoh in Hot Springs?

He will pay nothing but for some reason I like him to use Oaklawn to springboard to a Smarty type run.

Of the Baffert horses I most definitely prefer him

Would not cry if Dortmund got beat today, though I don't really see it happening.

Cant really go wrong with Dortmund or AP but I like AP better.

Just read that Dubai Sky fractured hind leg this morning. Probably wasnt going to KY Derby but thats one that had the points to go. I'm sure there will be a few more defections/injuries in the weeks to come.

Either twinspires, AT&T, or a combination of both don't want me to watch anything today. Every single race freezes as they come around the damn turn.

Frosted ran pretty well..thought he was going to be already in after the FOY.

Daredevil needs to stick to the sprints. El Kabier is about what I thought he was.

Was no problem. Always go in the back gate and stick to the far end of the grandstand. Stay away from all of the drunk college kids on the apron and in the paddock.

Isnt anyone even giving any shot to International Star in the Derby?? Honestly, I think its Dortmonds to lose. With AP giving him a serious challenge. All depending on the post of course. But I am not counting IS out of this thing. People keep saying every race is the one he will lose and he keeps trucking. I think hes been inpressive as hell. But I see a lot of Big Brown in Dortmond and thats scary

I am willing to let Dortmund beat me. I thought he came home pretty slowly after an easy lead, especially at SA.

Also think that Frosted just ran his best race. Not a huge fan of McLaughlin either.

Not sure what to do with Florida races. I think the Beyers coming out of Gulfstream this winter have been ridiculously high.

I think Carpe Diem is ok and certainly always runs hard. I will use him in trifecta but not in top spot.

I think the winner of the Derby will be American Pharaoh or Mubtaahij, if he handles the ship and track.

Sounds like Far Right hasn't put in too many works recently, but if he runs well in Arkansas Derby, I will use him underneath as well.

I couldn't agree more. Pharaoh has the best stride of all of these horses. It's just an eye popper.

He is a huge wildcard in my eyes. He looked fantastic in UAE Derby, but I've been fooled by a couple of these winners before. It is really going to be interesting to see what Baffert does with AP and Dortmund. I'd say Dortmund is going to go straight to the front and AP lay just off of him. If the forms hold up, I just see AP breezing past Dortmund and that is where Mubtaahij throws a wrench in everything and wins because AP is just worried about Dortmund. I honestly think that the Florida bunch comes home like 3500 claimers. New York races haven't blown me away. Carpe Diem likes to win, but it looks like he's struggling to finish up.
