2nd in the commonwealth. Had to send from the 1 hole and handsome mike was glued to us the whole way. 3 jumps from the wire he caught us. Not bad for going a furlong too far, I guess.

Sorry! I thought you had him in a virtual stable or something.

I'll let you know next time he runs. There was talk of the sprint on the Preakness undercard, but who knows

Oaks will be good this year.

First time in several years there is not a huge favorite. Looks like 3 or 4 contenders.

From mike welsch of drf:

DRFWelsch: Will Take Charge did not appear to like wet strip nor was Govenor Charlie striding out real well. Close Hatches very strong again for Oaks
.

The gov is a throw out for me anyway. A trip to roof and riddle 2 weeks out is not good.

They've run a few. No idea when I'll come. Maybe this summer when our 2yr old is ready.

They are sending the husband to lad this year. Was supposed to be Churchill

Also to the OP, I always provide the PPs for the big racing days and I will do that again once they pop up on the computer.

Thanks!

That is the only way I can pick my exotic bets. The first weekend in May is always my favorite.

Watched some gallops this morning, and I hate to say it, but frac daddy looked great in the mud. So much so that I went back to watch his "work" from Monday. I couldn't find any times, so maybe it was just an open gallop, but he had his ears pricked and moved easily in a huge ground eating stride. He's got a bit of a high step, so maybe we'll see him on grass one day.

No clue, but I'll probably take him if it's dry too. He only has a maiden win! I must be crazy!

I'll just do $1 wps

Just noticed thread. Leparoux worries me, but I like Java's War. If the track comes up sloppy, I'll jump all over Calvin's horse.

I've been on mylute and palice malice for a while. I'm kind of interested in black onyx based on how he's been handling the track.

What kind of odds you think we'll get on Palace?
