Mett sucks and is the worst starter in the league, even worse than Geno

You're an idiot.

Texans, Jets, Redskins, Browns, Bills, Rams, Chiefs, Eagles (take of your Chip Kelly shades, he's better than Sam Bradford).

An argument can be made that he is better than what each of these teams currently have and you could possibly include the Bucs and Jaguars in there also, jury is still out on them.

But all the bama fans sees is "OMG LSU FANS THINK METT IS THE BEST QB EVAR!". and no one even came close to saying that. kinda sad

Exactly. It's not like we're talking about Greg McElroy or AJ McCarron. Mett has serious NFL arm talent and is prlly in the top 10 in the NFL on just pure arm talent alone.

This has nothing to do with them being upset over the pick. They had a bet on who the Titans had as the #2 pick. Wright didn't have Mariota. They're not disappointed over who they drafted.

He isn't better than Alex Smith or Sam Bradford.

Better passer than Smith, but that dude just wins in this league.

Bradford is a pretty damn good NFL QB if he stays healthy.

The fact that anyone is so sure about him being a better QB than Mariotta is mind boggling.

This is not a smart argument. Mariota is probably a better QB than Bortles or Carr but would you think it a good decision for OAK or JAX to take him?

Definitely.

He is in the bottom 10 in athleticism and durability probably though.

He just needs a damn good OL and the Titans might have the worst in the league

He has more talent than Alex Smith and a better arm than Bradford. Plus there is no telling how Bradford will be after his second season ending injury.

The argument that Alex Smith just wins is moot when Mett plays for the Titans.

Mariota will be a bust and is a terrible fit for that offense.

Metts a good QB, but stop.

Feel free to do the numbers yourself, but Mett's first 7 games compared to Geno's first 7 games are

Statistic: Meet | Geno
Cmp%: 59.8 | 59.5 (Goes to Mett)
TD: 8 | 8 (Tie)
Int: 7 | 11 (Goes to Mett)
Rat: 83.4 | 78.0 (Goes to Mett)
Yds: 1,412 | 1,723 (Goes to Geno)

I don't think you can say Mett is worse when he has only played in 7 games and Geno has played in 30.

I would gladly take him over Alex Smith and Sam Bradford.

How many touchdowns did Smith have to WRs last year again?

Mett went through training camps and practice as the backup and has the worst OL in the league too.

RG3, Foles, Bradford, Alex Smith are all much better than Mett and their stats and resume support that.

18

With a 98 QBR.

And he's won A LOT of games in the NFL.

Well they should be considering how highly drafted they were.

RG3 is not a good QB, he is an injury prone athlete

Foles has a weak arm and can't stretch the field like Mett can.

Bradford is injury prone and no one knows how he will be coming off of now 2 season ending injuries.

Alex Smith completed how many touchdowns to WRs last year again? He's the definition of a game manager.
