You hear a lot about Porzingis, but very quietly KAT has put in a very remarkable season, he had 32 and 12 last night which broke some record, he is now averaging 16.5, 9.8 and 1.8 bpg! he's PER is 22.6! and he also has a ......4.0 GPA.

It's only quietly because he plays in Minnesota. He's clearly the Rookie of the Year.

Ironically enough Wiggins is really the only thing holding that came back from possibly being late in the future he's a chucker who can't dribble Rubio towns and levine are legit

Levine sucks. Minnesota's offense has been terrible when is is running the show at p.g. they just need to move him to the two guard spot

I remember being crushed by people when I simply presented the question of what franchise would you rather be right now - New Orleans or Minnesota?

Seems like that question is pretty reasonable now that AD once again can't stay healthy and the Pels are 12 games under .500.

Imagine how many hookers Pitino procured for him on his Louisville visit.

If wiggins and towns stay together?

Not even a contest for that question

Plus Minnesota is about to win the lottery and pick up ben Simmons. Wiggins, Simmons, towns front court

Oh I'd rather be Minnesota, but that's not a popular opinion.

Davis is in Year 4 and he's got a garbage roster around him, he can't play 70 games in a season, and the Pels are 12 games under .500.

The T'wolves have Wiggins in Year 2 and Towns in Year 1, and both look like they are potential superstars in this league that can compliment each other very well.

At this point, anyone saying they'd rather be NO is delusional. Before the season, I'd have understood why pels fans would have rather been in their shoes. Technically towns is unknown, wiggins could have some weird sophomore year, AD could have had a healthy, dominant year, etc....

None of that happened though

This was before the season, yeah.

Doubtful Minnesota ends up with the top pick, but top 5 looks probable. Who is someone from this draft class they could add that would make sense for them?

Haven't kept up with the draft at all. I know Simmons will go #1, but nothing after that.

The next group is brandon Ingram, jaylen brown, Kris Dunn, and dragan bender. 2 wings, a point guard, and a 4. They could really take any of them and make it work pretty easily so they will go best player available IMO.

Not that anyone is drafting for specific needs in the top 5, but wiggins is flexible on the wing and none of those guys are gonna infringe on the 2 superstars. I suppose they might be less likely to take kris Dunn if they like what they have in Rubio and Lavine

But seriously, if they get Simmons, that'd be fricking awesome and a giant frick you to Philadelphia

I'm from Minnesota and was also going to post about KAT. I love the guy as he says and does things the right way. Here's my favorite story so far:
Recently he had a game where he scored 32 points and had 12 rebounds. He was 14-17 from the field, but the T-Wolves lost. A reporter asked him about his game and he was ticked. He said that the only shots he made were because of his teammates giving him good passes and he had a terrible game. He's going to be a superstar in the league because he works hard, is smart, and as humble as can be. I'm as excited about the Timberwolves future as I've ever been in the history of our team.

I agreed with you...Not sure if I posted in the thread though. Pels fans seem to think Jrue is a top 10 PG and that their roster was a piece away from competing. You know what though? 80% of the NBA is "a piece" away from being contenders.

They need to rebuild their rebuild.

The Twolves also surrounded them with some of the best possible vets to learn from in KG, Tayshaun, and Andre Miller. That is also something that they have seemed to be lacking in New Orleans.

I really think the biggest question for the Twolves going forward is the coaching situation. Sam Mitchell likely isn't going to be the coach there next season, so it will be interesting to see who they go after. Would be a very enticing job.

We do not have high IQ guys, that's the problem.

I do think AD and Jrue are two pieces that you could build a good team around. AD obviously has potential through the roof, he was dominant tonight against Aldridge. He did just about everything, but the team has players like Norris Cole that love to just chunk up shots. It's infuriating.
