If the zebras throw this many flags in the regular season, some games may last 4+ hours.

Possible with the Saints still rocking and the improvement in Tampa and Atlanta. I just hope you aren't basing this on what you're currently watching as we looked just as bad last year in preseason and, ya know, won the NFC South.

Maybe you are right, but I take exception the way he handled the Steve Smith thing. He was such an arse about it.

I also think he messed up bad by letting too many folks go. They lost in the first round if the playoffs and overachieved last year and he doesn't seem to understand that last years formula did not work.

Yes I was not pleased with that whole situation. Smitty's production was clearly dropping off and not what is expect of a WR1 (with WR1 salary) but it didn't have to be carried out like that for a player I watched for over a decade.

Perfect example of what I was talking about earlier with these threads attracting ignorant posters

Stats disagree with you, FWIW.

I'm not flaming, he's an effective player at times, but an elite downfield passer he is not.

You could be right I just tend to worry about his short throws more than his downfield passes

When is Cam's contract up? I'll be interested to see if he decides to bolt. They kind of fricked him with the receiver situation. You run a big risk of pissing off your star QB when you let all of your receivers go and basically do nothing to make up for it.

He's in his 4th year and the Panthers picked up his 5th year option so I guess that puts him around 2016?

Cam appears to be scared to run on his ankle and is scrambling in the pocket when he may as well run forward and try to pick up a couple of yards
