Roy was cheating, allowing Seniors who's eligibility was gone, to get paid, and NCAA did nothing. KU ain't getting but a slap on the wrist, and then NCAA will Punish Wichita st.

They'll hammer Memphis just to show they mean business.

I really don’t know why schools don’t just tell the NCAA to eff off.

The NCAA is dirty as frick and picks and chooses when it wants to enforce the rules. Everyone saw the UNC cheating scandal and nothing happened. Like hell you’re going to come after my university now.

In related news, NCAA continues to push Power 5 schools toward permanent split.

Nah...they’ll negotiate with Kansas, then figure out a way to punish the hell out of Witchita State for “violations”. That way every knows the NCAA is still serious about amateur athletics.

NCAA will never do shite to P5 schools short of criminal investigation being tied in, but those G5 school better keep their noses squeaky clean. Such fricking hypocracy.

This doesn't mean the punishment, FWIW. Just their "reply and statement of the case" seen in the following order of events.

Not sure what that totally means, but it isn't the ruling.

Yep. It reminds me of back in the day when Jerry Tarkanian said the NCAA was so mad at Kentucky that they gave Cleveland St an additional 2 years probation.

Pretty sad it’s that obvious. P5 fans and donor know they never have to worry about anything, so now not only do they have much more money that the G5’s/mid majors to compete, but they also have the wink and nod from the NCAA.

Didn't stop USC from getting fricked over.

Depends what jealous a-hole is running the investigation.

People think the NCAA is some objective neutral body.

They're just people from other schools who held high positions at other schools and have an agenda and an objective and if you don't grease their hands - they're gonna get you.

If KU has someone on the inside like Alabama does, then they'll be fine. USC was stupid, they were an outsider and sued the NCAA and the presidents from other Universities not as successful said, we're coming for you. As Ivan Maisel said..."Pac-12 coaches told him that USC was punished for its USC-ness...open practices, celebrities, winning." It was a jealous lynching.

KU hasn't dominated recently so they should be fine...and they probably grease the wheels.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Mizzou will be the one getting punished for the second time when Mizzou starts being good again!

That would be a horrible way to end their streak of consecutive tournament appearances. I may be wrong but I think it is the longest active streak currently

it's the longest streak ever and it would be kinda funny for it to be bookended by postseason bans.

it would be slightly ridiculous for kansas to be doing nothing different from any other program and having a postseason ban, but i guess the goal is not to get caught, and that obviously hasn't happened here.

People flipped Arizona from a Player's Program to a Payer's Program.

I always liked that. KU better not horn in on our name.
