Kansas is as blue blood as you get, no it won’t be as bad as Louisville.

As an Arizona fan, if KU wants the smoke on this one, they can have it.

The harder line other schools take, the less the NCAA can try to hose us.

Probably worse than Louisvile. Bill Self is going to be suspended at minimum... probably for a year or so

I agree with him being suspended, but don't think it will be for a year. Silvio De Sousa was already suspended for a year (originally two) by the NCAA. So it will probably be some vacated wins (2018 Final Four run), Self suspended for 9-13 games, and scholarship reductions for 2-3 years.

In related news, NCAA continues to push Power 5 schools toward permanent split.

Again, my primary concern is extrapolating this to Arizona, and I'd totally feel good if this was the result.

I'm hoping our punishment can include vacating our 2018 appearance so we can vacate being blown out by Buffalo.

If that's all they get from 5 level 1 violations, then that would be pretty light imo.

I hope your're right except for the vacated Final Four

I agree, but I don't think the lack of institutional control will stick. I'm pretty confident about the vacated Final Four. Only thing I'm not sure confident about is the length of Bill's suspension and potential postseason suspensions.

postseason suspensions.

That would be a horrible way to end their streak of consecutive tournament appearances. I may be wrong but I think it is the longest active streak currently

Its only a matter of time before Self takes over for Pop in San Antonio. Kansas will get worse than Louisville simply because the Cardinals were proactive and fired Pitino, while Kansas essentially spit in the NCAA's face.

As an Arizona fan, I actually want Sean Miller to get a show-cause because he sucks and has destroyed our program.

It’s so cute that some of you think anything will be done to the beaks.

I mean, I understand why you don't think NCAA violations can relate to postseason bans since Missouri never has to worry about any postseason games either way. Not sure why you don't expect the other stuff, though.

I'm a Miller fan. I remember you're not from previous posts, but I can't really join you on this one.

Your football program sure as hell don't either. Thanks for the future blood donor wins.

Not right now, but Les at least appears to have instilled some hope in the program. Hopefully in about 3 years they'll be fighting for bowl spots more consistently.
