Kaep looked fricking lost at times this year, his season and a half of decent play with a stacked team and great coach should not warrant an 18 million dollar contract.

If he didn't get to light up the packers on national TV every now and then he would look very average.

I'm sure he wants more than $18m/year. His camp would be inept for not trying given the stupid contracts that have been awarded of late. I don't know why this is news or why people are surprised by it.

He'll end up signing for market value or he'll be moving on.

And wow does he rustle this board's jimmies.

Idiocy. He has one of the strongest arms in the NFL.

He needs touch and decision making. If he develops both he's going to be a nightmare.

he came really close to throwing away their playoff run in Green Bay.

Micah Hyde dropped an interception.

I know he threw a few picks in the 4th quarter of the Seattle game but I thought he looked pretty good in the game up until that point. I mean, a lot better than I thought he would.

Market value is pretty high though. While 18 is too much 15-16 isn't crazy.

I forgot about that dropped pick.

I know that kinda stuff happens, and he certainly has had moments of brilliance.

Some think he's the 3rd coming of elite QB play in San Fran while others have written him off completely already.

I'm of the belief that the truth is probably somewhere between those two statements.

Or even worse Stafford. If dudes with 1 and 0 playoff wins are getting that much can you blame him for wanting big bucks after going to the Superbowl and NFCCG?

Kaepernick is a couple of seasons away from being worth that, assuming he improves, which he may not.

He or his agent must be smoking crack but Flacco got paid so anything's possible.
