Had a guy on the saints board try to tell me that Thomas is already a better receiver than Evans. I don't really see how this is debatable Evans is hands down the better choice but I'm wanting to hear some opinions.

Evans.

Sounds like you're talking to a homer. Every team has em.

Mike Evans and it's not particularly close.

Only a saints fan would take Thomas.

That's all you need to know.

Not to mention manziel is still holding Evans 2012 heisman trophy for him. Evans made manziel.

I'll still take the 6'5 WR that runs a 4.4

Evans has better measurables. Thomas is a stud route runner. I'm not complaining about neither.

Because on this board only one person can be responsible for a team or unit having success.

We had a very good college QB, a great WR (and a couple other good ones) and they happened to play behind a great OL in a wide open system. If you look at the total offense numbers we put up it takes a lot more than one really good WR to accomplish that

Thomas probably is a better pure receiver but Evans can throw his big body around so I'd take him.

Lol

Mike Evans best year was 2013

In the 2012 Bama game he only had like 40 yards. Swope had 111 yards and made some amazing catches

You're blind and know nothing. Evans accounted for only 21.57% of Manziel's total yards and 5 of Manziel's 47 TDs. Even in 2013 he accounted for 28.6% of the yards and 12 of 47 TDs.

What's a pure receiver? Is that like Brees' natural accuracy?
