The Feds have no business asking about steroids in baseball though.
Just assholes like McCain wanting to grandstand and stick their noses where they don't belong.

You definitely can. Once that jury is seated, jeopardy has attached. Sometimes a judge can be convinced that a new trial should be allowed, but not always, especially when you have a prosecutor who disobeyed the judge twice before they even made it out of opening statements.

Clemons will never see another jury for this charge. They didnt have a case. If they did, they should have presented it.

I ain't hating on them. They broke the rules of baseball and have suffered the consequences.
But I haven't watched a game of baseball since the steroid era arrived. Steroids eroded the credibility of the game. The PEDs, the salaries, the strike....totally ruined baseball for me.

this. what the frick are the other guys talking about. the prosecution did a TERRIBLE job. really, all u have as evidence is hearsay from Pettite's wife? if u can't get a conviction without some she said bullshite, u dont deserve it
