and the lack of availability he was given to Pash.

They hid the witness.

Why should the NFL be allowed to do that? They also didn't let Brady's camp see the files after Pash edited them.

However, that won't stop fools from pointing to this ruling as unequivocal proof of Brady's innocence, which is unfortunate.

This is the only problem I have with today's ruling. Both sides (including the Pats) are shady as hell, but the NFL is worse. So the lesser of the two evils gets off. I guess I will have to live with that.

My dad is a lawyer, and he read the opinion from the judge.

He says the judge is really smart, and gave the 2d Circuit a lot of leeway to go either way and pick parts of the opinion to justify their ruling.

The Wells report allowed 'fools' to state that Brady was unequivocally guilty despite being full of holes and bullshite.

Can't complain about the way it looks now whenever the league set out from the beginning to gain the publics view of Brady to be guilty

An appeals courts overturning a ruling is the biggest slap in the face a judge can have. I assure you no federal judge wants to be overturned. If there is leeway in Berman's ruling, I doubt it's intentional.

I was just going to say, District Court judges like to keep their opinions as tight as possible so they don't get overruled.

Not sure how quickly the Circuit could hear this and rule. Would be amazing if Brady got suspended for the playoffs after all of this.

I'm not a pats fan and I've been rooting against the NFL through this stupid process, but that would be absolutely hilarious.

Appeals take forever. Probably won't be heard until 2016.

Even if they did this, There would be another appeal after that an a possible injunction for Brady at that time. Especially given that a playoff game would be seen as an even harsher punishment than the original

It talks both about arbitration rules and collective bargaining rules.

I'm saying the 2d Circuit can easily pick things out about collective bargaining in order to uphold Berman's ruling.

It will be upheld.

I see what you are saying now. I took your first post to mean that Berman wrote the opinion in way that would allow the 2nd circuit to agree or disagree with his decision.

Does no one else see that this was just one huge snow job by the NFL and the Patriots?

Goodell - Hey we are going to suspend Brady for cheating but dont worry a court will through it out

Craft - How do you know it will get thrown out?

Goodell - Well see Pash knows a judge in NY where we will file it and we wont let him testify as a witness and his buddy will throw it out mainly on that fact. By the way I want you to bash us in the media and pretend to try and move it to Minnesota so that it looks like we are really at odds.

Craft - Ok, I'll advise Belicheck and Brady and let them know that Brady will be playing week 1 so they can continue on their normal regiment and get Brady to act like yall are at odds on this.

Goodell - Sounds great. We will have to lay low for a while but after this is said and done, I'll see you on the greens for tee off

Craft - See you there. Oh and dont worry I got your back with the owners except for Benson, he still wants your head on a platter.

No. I just see the truth that is evident. We all knew the punishment would not stick. We all know Goodell and craft are good friends. We all know that Goodell had to make a show for the other owners that were outraged at the Patriots. Answer me this.....if Goodell really had an intention to punish the Patriots why didn't anyone above Brady get punished?

Not buying it. Pretty sure it's a computerized draw. That District's website says they have 48 judges. That's a bit of a gamble.

Brady probably cheated but can't say I wasn't rooting for Goddell to not get embarrassed again.
