They're closer than the Saints. The Skins are essentially adding Junior G and Norman. They had one of the best drafts last year and likely will again. They have a real GM now. They have a formidable offense. They could easily make the playoffs again.

Should be fun seeing him go up against Odell twice and Dez twice each season.

I predict many fights

The panthers made the right call. He isn't worth that kind of money.

They are in really good cap position over the next few years.

I can't agree with this enough. Dez & OBJ twice a year should be fun.

He's going to regret that when he's on a team losing 11 games a year.

This is going to be an absolute nightmare contract. $50 million guaranteed is INSANE. Darrelle Revis, who had the most guaranteed money before this signing, is $11 million less.

This is such a Redskins things to do.

Revis is going to want his contract reworked now.

Washington is stupid. Wow.

I hope Norman sends Gettleman a thank you note for taking away that franchise tag. Panthers would never give this kind of deal to a near 30 year old CB.

Can't wait to see what he does with that fat contract facing OBJ and Dez four times with a non-elite front seven. Has SCH weighed in on this signing yet?

Well if it couldn't have been the saints to go for this the Redskins are a pretty solid plan B.

Megacontracts for cornerbacks in today's NFL always works out so well..
