As a devoted Rangers fan, I am very thankful for everything Josh has done for this franchise. But after tonight, and this past week, I do not want the team to sign him to an extension. He seemed totally disinterested in the game. And it seemed like he wasn't giving "his all" on the field. Also combined with his drug use, I don't see his body holding up.

Because of a poor week?

No.

It's a combination. Obviously he's injury prone, and I worry about the guy. He's not mentally stable.

I AGREE 100% - The Rangers can use that money they may have used on an extension on another pitcher, and hope Injuries don't plague the pitching staff in 2013.

I don't think Neftali is returning to the rotation, so yeah, we might need to sign someone in FA this year.

Can't believe he has actually gotten booed at points this season.

Did you see the in game thread as to the number of pitches he saw tonight? The rangers became great because of the at plate disipline. That has been lacking for about 3 months now. Ham, Kinsler, and Cruz are the main ones

I Can, when you have fans spending money (season ticket holders pay a ton!) to see this team play, its easy to get frustrated when a key player is out there not giving it any effort, quite obvious in the last week.

ETA: I've spent roughly $700-1000 in total seeing 5 games (travel from BR to Arlington, Hotel, Tix,
Concessions etc.) to see this team play, not once have I booed, I don't feel I have the right even with as much as I've paid to see this team.

He's be crap coasting since the break. His "injuries" more frequent along with his errors and strikeouts. Thank you for your time... Can't wait to pitch against ya in the future.

I remember him getting booed in June or July. Which is incredible given how great he was in April and May.

I'm guessing he ends up in Boston, LA, or SF.

I'd gladly take him in Oakland

Haha, you know that won't happen. Best of luck against Detroit.
