Well they said it was Flu...but that sounded stupid...that he was totally fine the day before and suddenly the flu had no incubation period of symptoms and he's a wreck for ONE game the next day and then total fine after that one day?

So then the stories started coming out it was food poisoning...the Jazz fans tainted his food.

I think we know enough of Jordan now - and what an insane competitor he is - and how addicted he was to gambling - and how he was up to 5 in the morning on the Dream Team gambling and drinking in Monte Carlo the night before a day game in their tune-ups before Barcelona.

I would actually be surprised if Jordan wasn't in Vegas the night before...and mostly dehydrated from booze and groggy from lack of sleep and food.

No mythology on the court. The guy is as dominant as the game has ever seen. Plain and simple.

I watched the Jordan sick game. It was a work of art and testament to toughness.

He went to work after getting hungover. We've all done it. Most of us have done it in the morning.

If you want to crown him, then crown his arse.

Funny this is a story and Lebron gets knocked for it. And he said absolutely nothing about his sickness or playing bad in game 3. RJ is the one that spoke up and just said he felt bad. But now LBJ is a whiny baby somehow

If you have 104 degree fever because of a hangover I'd suggest you layoff the Xpills. Gotta love ppl who claim to be experts on things they have no clue about.

You're welcome for the flashback to his pre-hair transplant hairline.

It's a great game, it's just not more impressive when it was a self-inflicted illness.

Jordan because he was actually sick. Lebron wasn't this is just a made up story like most of the Lebron mythology.

EL
OH
FRICKING
EL

at the hypocrisy of this statement.

1) Jordan WASN'T sick. He was hungover from a night out due to his gambling addiction, but a MADE UP STORY about him having the flu persists

2) Said gambling addiction is the reason Jordan left for those two seasons. But that's never been confirmed, instead, A MADE UP STORY about his reasons for leaving prevails

3) Jordan had plenty of bad games and plenty of seemingly-good games that were actually the result of his sociopathic insistence on shooting inefficiently. But guess what? A MADE UP STORY PERSISTS THAT HE NEVER MADE ANY MISTAKES, to the point where people discredit LeBron going 34-5-6 because "Jordan would have never been cold for two quarters" or "Jordan would have never gotten in foul trouble"

It's unreal how much Jordan-believers ignore or revise for their own arguments.

How can you post something so negative about MJ, and then say..."But that's never been confirmed". Then expect us to take anything you say seriously?

If you're a basketball junkie, you've heard former players tell the story about Jordan's supposed "flu" game and his gambling addiction causing trouble with the League office. I meant it's never been confirmed as in Jordan will never admit it. But the story is out there, if you know where to look.

MJ didn't have the flu baw, dude was just hung over from gambling all night. Then he went and got his dad killed b/c he didn't think he had to pay his debts.

Kimdotcom told me so it must be true.
