Thats a really bad fracture, might never really recover from it.

It has to be demoralizing to keep having these season ending injuries.

There is a correlation in steroid use and ligament/joint injuries.

Amen. As he ran out the tunnel last night I was thinking how happy that dude must be that he's actually not hurt and can do more than post on instagram for once. And boom..

Was really looking forward to him being a part of the Texans pending reign.

Sucks for JJ and OBJ. Hate to see those kind of injuries. Possible career killers.

Sad to hear he's out for the season. I was hoping for a better prognosis after hearing it was a tibial plateau fracture.

I looked up others with this injury. Dez Bryant had a fracture in his and missed a few weeks. I can't find his name now that JJ Watt is dominating the Google search, but another player broke his in August and was expected to miss 8 weeks.

I guess Watt's was a bad break.

He'll brb. Has to research the correlation between bone fractures and steroids.

My SO broke her tibial plateau three weeks ago. It all depends how bad the break is. Her's was the bad variety and required surgery with plates and screws. So it all depends but if they're already saying he's done for the year then I'm guessing it's not great.

It’s gonna be longer for a 320 lb guy who is in a 3 point stance every play

That is correct. He will return, but he’s unlikely to be the same. Really sad.

I mean JJ Watt 100% uses steroids, but I don't think that's some kinds of anomaly in the NFL.

So how long will she be out before she can start making your sammiches again?
