Just saw a story that this almost didn't count. Furyk wrote 3 on 14 on his scorecard and didn't change it until in the scorers tent. With the hammering the rules of golf have taken this year, can you imagined be the result if they DQ'd him?

I had not seen this story yet - but the only thing I would state is that the PGA Tour is not the USGA.
Most scoring screw ups take place if a player signs a card before the scorers' tent - it is a rookie mistake - even AJGA and other youth tours train their players to go to the scorer area and validated their score and their playing partner score THEN SIGN - all while under the counsel of a tour rep that has the scores electronically.
