Is that really that hard to believe?

ETA nevermind I just realized that you are probably GCA. Who once ban bet that Tebow would beat the Pats in the 2011 playoffs

In a world where Ponder and Gabbert are two of the 32 starters much less two of the 32 backups, yeah it's tough to imagine.

He should come to the CFL and learn behind Anthony Calvillo. He's one of the CFL's all time great QBs. He definitely won't start in the CFL right away.

Give me Ponder and Gabbert any day of the week over Tebow

Is it wishful thinking to hope the Falcons would be stupid enough to sign him?

I have no problem believing it either. The only reason he's still in the league is because he's Tebow. That defense carried him in Denver.

He could be a Frank Wycheck kind of guy but he refuses to.

That's just cruel, given the Bills discussion...

Well, there are 64 QBs in the league who can complete more than half their passes...

yeah, plus Matt Prater got hardly any credit in that stretch either.

the guy kicked a 59 yard FG to tie that Bears game and send it into overtime. Then he hit a 51 yard FG to win it in overtime.

he also kicked the game winners against Minnesota and San Diego.

but the media wanted to ride the Tebow pain train instead because he went 9-of-23 in passing attempts

If you keep it a 10-7 ballgame, yeah, he could work some magic. Get him down 21-0, and you're SOL.

Yup.

The 300-yard performance (and 80-yard game winner) against Pittsburgh sucked because it actually appeared to give the media a legitimate argument.

Then John Elway rode into town and said sayonara

We already have lots. Montreal is legit the best place for him. The only team without a starting QB in the CFL this year is probably Edmonton. The game is so different for a QB to adjust to, it usually takes a year or two

Based on almost every category, the Broncos defense was ranked in the bottom half of the league in 2011.

They were #2 (behind the Steelers) last year and still ended up out of the playoffs early.

Tebow had a little something to do with their success in 2011.

Obviously the Broncos are better off offensively with Manning at the helm but they still had pretty much the same results between the two of them at the end of the year.

Net result with Manning? Unless they win the SB or the AFC this year, zero.

And I agree with the CFL. Dude should go up there and give it a shot. It's obvious the NFL isn't calling you to come in as a QB.

That or change positions.
