Yup The Pats were a way better TEAM....... The Jets was gonna be a mess from the get-go anyway. There was No way that was gonna work out..Now if he were to get picked up by the Jags that would be a mess to cause they suck.......

This! I feel the same way! Hated him at Florida but he is a winner. I hope he makes a lot of people regret passing on him!

Drafting Geno made this move inevitable.

Canadian Football is so much more passing and not much running as you have 2 downs to make 10 yards before punting. His game may not fit Canada.

Speaking of that, I feel bad for anyone on this board who watches ESPN religiously

someone in retail probably

Greenie is going crazy on Mike and Mike about how the Jets mistreated him by:

1) "humiliating" him by not playing him late last year when you would normally play your backup
2) "ruining" his chances of catching on with another team by waiting till now to let him go

I'm sure some Tebow supporters will agree with him but I find both arguments idiotic. The Jets would have undoubtedly played him last year if they thought he was the best choice. If he was humiliated by that then that's the nature of sports (not playing when someone else is better). Them releasing him today was also partially spurred by them picking up Geno Smith. They were probably also hoping to get someone like a Jacksonville etc to give up a draft pick if they wanted Tebow

So in other words, nobody should pick him up because he adds no value.

Not saying I completely disagree with your argument, but how do you justify:

1) Putting Tebow as a Punt Protector (seriously wtf?)
2) Playing Tebow as a decoy WR
3) Not playing Tebow as a QB when the Jets season fell apart; they could've saw what he had as a QB
4) If they were gonna release him, why not do it before the draft?

Right now, every NFL roster is full. He was probably not gonna get a shot on another team anyway IMO, but this does come off as a "bitch" move by the Jets.

Huh? It has more to do with the fact that they have 6 QBs, well 5 now
