..Tony contribute to a championship."

Is this guy serious? Does he not pay anybody to tell him when to shut the frick up? At this point, that quote is goddamn ridiculous.

I don't see what's wrong with it.

Also, Dak is playing great but he doesn't have a lot of attempts. If something happens to that running game they are going to need an experienced passer who can handle the load. I'm not saying Dak can't do it but yeah keep your options open considering you have the greatest passing quarterback in franchise history on the depth chart.

Seems reasonable to me. He's frittered away Tony's prime with abjectly horrific management.

The fact that the best statistical QB in team history has no skins on the wall is a direct indictment of Jerruh. He owes it to Tony to let him contribute any way he can.

Call me crazy, but I don't think Dak wins a playoff game this year. I think they'll get knocked off in the divisional round.

They're about to lock up homefield and Dak has never played more that 14 games. I think it's reasonable to give Tony some reps. Keep Dak from hitting the rookie wall

I mean, shite was so contentious that Romo felt the need to hold a press conference and cry about having to give the job to the new kid. Jerry Jones and his ambiguous quotes probably had at least a little bit to do with it.

Now, after everything is settled, he's still talking like this. You don't think it's pretty ridiculous at this point?

And keep option open if Dak struggles? Are you insinuating they might need to yank Dak for Romo in a playoff game? Like, midgame?

He was the face of the franchise. Did you think he was going to get away with not talking to the media via press conference?! He handled it gracefully, if you ask me. I liked what he said.

Do you think Dak doesn't know that if he throws two picks in the first quarter of a playoff game that the entire stadium is going to want Romo in the game?

Dak has taken fewer hits this season than he did in the 2015 Bama game. His 12 games in the NFL have been a breeze compared to the amount of hits he took a State.

it's always been about the "Jerry Jones Way". It's not about what's best for the Cowboys, it's what's best for the team that Jerry Jones built, with Jerry Jones players. I realize Dack is one of them, but Jones' loyalty in this instance is dangerous.

So we should expect Jerry Jones to hire someone to crowbar Prescott walking off the field from practice then.....

Idk. I still don't know what to think about it. I guess it was graceful, but it weirded me out.

Is this real life? No. NO goddamnit I don't think this is accurate.

There was a time early on where I thought it'd be perfectly fine for them to make Romo the starter again. That ship has don' sailed. Romo hasn't played in a game in how long? People still want him to come in a damn playoff game?

OP is making a mountain out of a molehill here. It's simple...Tony needs some reps in case Dak gets hurt.

If Dallas is 14-1 heading into the final game, is it smart to have Dak play all four quarters in the finale?

He's always had a bromance with Romo.

Maybe after Dak wins them the Super Bowl, Jones can hold up the trophy during the ceremony and say: "this one's for Tony!"
