That speech was rough to listen to. He may be a smart player, but he sure isn't smart in the classroom. He couldn't complete coherent sentences and that's just downright sad. We praise these guys for their athletic acumen, but damn is it too much to ask for basic grammar skills?

FWIW, he qualified for Stanford and was a 4.0 student in HS

Defensive numbers, etc. don't mean shite. Throw on the tape and you'll see a QB with a strong arm, amazing accuracy for a RS FR, and good feet. He'd be successful no matter the team he was on.

Well he sure doesn't show it in the way he speaks. If I walked into his practice and be started talking like that, I'd walk right out. That was a pitiful showing of grammatical aptitude.
