I'm not even sure Minnesota would pick Jahlil Okafor anyway. I'm a T'Wolves fan and would much rather have a player like Karl-Anthony Towns that fits a bit more in the front court with Nikola Pekovic than Okafor. Okafor has also had questions surrounding his conditioning and I'd much rather have a player like Towns that can get up-and-down the court with Wiggins and Rubio.
Also, it is clear that Los Angeles may be a better city in terms of weather and things to do, but Minneapolis is a great city in itself. The weather sucks November through March, but there is a reason Minneapolis consistently ranks at the top (or near it) in best places to live lists. It has a tremendous quality of life.

It's the NBA. You need to be at your best regardless of what team you play for. You shouldn't have a preference. At least act somewhat professional.
