Years from now, taking Clowney over Mack will be compared with taking Bowie over Jordan

To some, many scouts had Mack the best player in the draft before and after.

Clowney had his flags. When was the last time a player with work ethic and/or injury concerns panned out in sports? I'm sure it has happened, but I can't think of a time.

While I don't disagree with you about the flags concerning his work ethic, this has nothing to do with that. That's a serious injury, not him just trying to avoid getting on the field. Hell, it ended Darren Sharpers career. Now, Darren was near the end of his career anyway so it's not a perfect example, but it's not a surgery to take lightly. Not a Texans fan, but hopefully he can get healthy and at least become a productive football player.

Damn, I wouldn't be shocked if he's done. One has to actually work in rehab to get back into shape. Not his strong suit. What a shame.

Just thank god this isn't the last CBA Texans.

I am happy with the Falcons pick
Now we just need 20 more good picks

bust
Is it a bust when it is injury related? It really isn't his fault.

Man that dude had bust labeled on him in college

Hope it turns out ok. Microfracture surgery has fricked a few basketball players.

Indeed. Spurrier should have warned the Texans to fix their shitty field before their draft pick tears a muscle on it.
This x1000000
Clowney is probably continuing on, on a strong rookie season if it weren't for that shite field.

And the idiots calling him a bust need to grow a brain.
A.) He could still be great.
B.) Even if he never lives up to the hype, he can't help getting injured. It's not like he's Jamarcus Russell or Trent Richardson.
