harder and harder to root for. Guy's been acting like a prima donna recently and the whole thing where every time someone asked him about the MVP...real champions and rel teammates dont care about shite like that, they want to win, period.

EDIT: a lot of you respond with stats and other shite that is completely irrelevant to what i'm talking about. Him laying into sam dekker the other night (i guess rookies shouldn't even be allowed to speak to someone of harden's self scribed status), then his backhand into breaking the nose of jerebko.

Bottom line is, the guy just isn't a leader. I would always want him on my team, and he's probably a future hall of famer. But leader? no.

How many Rockets games do you watch? I ask cuz Boom watches more than anyone else no matter what you answer. Boom is the official MSB Rockets insider.

To say that players don't care who wins MVP or win individual accolades is dumb. You want to be win AND be recognized for your individual play. You can do both.

Then go root for someone else then. We don't need fake arse fans like you talking bad about the best player in the league this year.

I dont see how you can say that after watching him this year.

Hes been awesome. Making teammates better. A much better leader. Playing defense. Chemistry has been good.

Night and day from last year. What, specifically, are you seeing that you dont like?

Are they not doing enough of that for you?

Harden's overrated. He's always been choker in games that matter.

What has he done recently to make you say this about him right now? This whole season he has transformed as a team leader and is playing his best of his career. But now you have a hard time rooting for him?

I think you're just trolling for a boom response

Brother all rockets fans opinions are welcomed here the amount of games people watch only really comes into play with fans of another team who clearly don't watch any CC games and then wanna argue like they know what they are talking about. Any die hard will be watching much more than that and have an opinion worth reading.

Exhibit A. It's not the like guy didn't play nearly his best game ever prior to this year in an elimination game. Or put up 18 r so in the 1st qtr of a different elimination game last year in GSW.

If Harden was padding stats at the expense of the team I would agree. But from what I have seen this year he is doing everything within the framework of the team to help them win.

He wants the MVP (who wouldnt)

So was Hakeem a real teammate and a real champion? He cared about the MVP. He said he was pissed when they gave it to David Robinson and he used that as motivation to destroy him in the playoffs.

You think Michael Jordan didn't care about winning MVPs?

Considering his teammates made 0
