Still going. 5th set 7-6 Cilic with Isner serving. This could go on for a while.

Color me shocked. Ridiculous to put this match so late if they had any control over it.

They've already each broken this set, and Cilic has been decent on Isner's serve.

I bet he breaks Isner relatively soon and wins.

Cilic is just playing steady, isner is screwing it up with unforced errors. But cilic can't handle the serve.
I think Isner wins it.

I take it back, that drop shot was nasty. I think Isner is mentally broken. Haha

I think Isner's best chance was to get it done before darkness. I'd expect nod goes to better player (Cilic) when they come out fresh tomorrow. Both guys were gassed at the end - I will say Cilic's returns were absolutely sick - you could tell Isner was surprised Cilic was getting a racquet on some of those bombs. I like both players, but I'm rooting for the American. Winner has what would seem like a favorable path to the Quarters.

And, yes that drop shop by Cilic was a beauty, and I think Isner was just conserving what little he had in the tank by not even making an attempt.

OK, brahs, keep this updated for me. On a lake in northern Michigan with sketchy cell coverage and the stupid Wimbledon site run by IBM blurs the scores on my phone. Let's go, John!

Isner double faults twice, second one lost the match. Wow. Terrible.

Talk Tennis thread said John fought off 3 or 4 match points in his first serve game today, then DF'ed to lose. Frick.

12-10 Cilic Isner looked disinterested again.
