Tony actually compares pretty favorably to Moon's career numbers.

If you think Romo is capable of winning five straight Grey Cups. Doug Flutie couldn't even do that (another undrafted free agent, by the way)

Warner was great but his numbers aren't that much better than Romo's.

Yes, the stats are clearly what we should compare those two on. Not Warner's clear advantage in playoff success.

If you think Romo is the greatest undrafted free agent, you should stop thinking.

Why is the Canadian Football field measured in yards?

I have no clue what his ability to win in the cfl is or would be.

If Tony maintains his playing career another 100 games he will shatter Moons numbers though expect for rushing yards.

I get the weight placed on playoff success, I really do, but football is a team sport. Dan Marino, and Peyton are two of the best to ever do it and they never had great playoff success.

Which is why guys like Randle, Fletcher and Lou Groza come to mind. The greatest UDFA doesnt have to be a QB.

Now, if you want to have the conversation about the greatest UDFA QB, then maybe Romo would be up there.

Peyton has a ring and played for at least one more. Marino pales in comparison to even Peyton's achievements.

I agree. I should have made this thread about QBs. It is too difficult to compare across positions. Oh well.

Very true. But just to throw it out there. Fletcher has been in the league since 1998 and here are his accomplishments.

4× Pro Bowl (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012)
2× Second-team All-Pro (2011, 2012)
Super Bowl champion (XXXIV)
2× NFC champion (1999, 2001)
NFL Combined Tackles Leader (2011)
Bart Starr Man of the Year Award (2012)
2× NFL's Top 100 Ranking (2012-87th, 2013-86th)
Most tackles from 2000-2009 (1,244)
NFL 20 Sack/20 Interception Club
Most consecutive games played by a linebacker in NFL History (244)
NFC Defensive Player of the Month (December 2012)
Washington Redskins' Defensive Player of the Year (2011)
St. Louis Rams Rookie of the Year (1998)
St. Louis Rams 10th Anniversary Team

I would say he has more pedigree than Romo.

I would agree with you. I honestly didn't know who exactly I was pitting Romo up against when I started this thread. Just kind of wanted to generate some discussion after hearing some of his career numbers being thrown around this morning.

Fletcher is a monster though.
