Is this the best MNF announcing duo of all time?!?!?!

I think so. Tirico is awesome and knows his stuff without underminding Gruden and Gruden is just awesome to listen to period

Gruden is good but gets a little annoying.

Gruden keeps the game from getting too dull. Some announcers make knitting seem like more fun than football. Gruden helps people understand the game

i dont get the love for this duo. tirico is the most boring announcer on the planet and gruden is meh; at best he is a poor man's(and younger) john madden.
of all the mnf crews i can remember, i liked the michaels/gifford/dierdort team the best.
NBC's sunday duo is much better than tirico/gruden

I like Gruden a lot, but Tirico is kind of low on my list. I don't like his voice, and to me, he seems fake, especially when he tries to feign excitement for big plays. I prefer Al Michaels, Joe Buck, or even Greg Gumbel.

The best MNF crew of all time and without a shadow of doubt was Howard Cosell(the sophisticated and intelligent), Dandy Don Meredith(the funny and light hearted athlete who did the color) and Frank Gifford( the serious, to the point play by play commentator) . ABC and now ESPN has been trying to find this chemistry since their run. This team made MNF a successful venture when no one gave this a chance to be successful, they are the reason that we have MNF today.

I highly enjoy them, and I agree although Gruden at times gets a little over the top with the technical stuff and jargon for the plays, it's still really impressive to watch.

Agreed. I don't know how anyone can diss Tirico he is one of the best in the business at all sports.

I hope they keep these guys together for a long time
I usually hate sunshine pumper commentary guys like Sutcliffe, but Gruden just gets so excited about games, it's hard not to find it entertaining. He also provides great insight and analysis that not many of the "meathead" commentators provide
