Last Thursday heading into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournaments and toward the NBA playoffs and NFL Draft, Undisputed averaged just 48,000 viewers during its mid-morning slot. That equals the smallest audience of any Undisputed broadcast since it returned from hiatus last September, per Jon Lewis of Sports Media Watch.
It was clear already that Fox had a problem on its hands when Bayless struggled to find a permanent cohost to replace Shannon Sharpe, and viewership lagged throughout the NFL season. But in the weeks since the Super Bowl, the situation has gone from bad to worse.
Given that Bayless is one of the network’s highest-paid talents and Undisputed now involves a tangle of several panelists and rotating voices, things are looking bleak. Sports networks don’t typically make significant changes until the dog days of the late summer, but it is hard to see Undisputed surviving the year in its current form.

Meanwhile, Club Shay Shay and Nightcap are exploding. Love or hate Shannon Sharpe, him leaving Skip Baylees behind on Undisputed was a smart move.

They'll put him out to pasture when his contract is up. Even for the terrible debate format it's terrible. One day the 2nd topic was Micah Parsons scoring 30 in the celebrity all star game and it had happened like 4 days prior to the discussion.

Skip messed up bad by continuously agitating and taking unnecessary shots at Shannon.
And to make things worse his hires to replace him were abysmal. Keyshawn is boring and doesn’t have the charisma. Irvin doesnt have anything really interesting to say to warrant watching.

I said it at the time he announced the new lineup, it's like he intentionally marshalled the least interesting most unlikable people to be on the show. It's like Hannity and Colmbs with no Hannity (foil) and four Colmbses, immediately followed with being hit by a bus.

Skip's love for being the agitator was so out of line on some days, he started comparing Shannon's career to Ton Brady's for no reason at all.

I never watch, but I do listen to them when I am on the road. My brain is complete mush after two hours. All Skip and Shannon would talk about every day is the Cowboys or LeBron.
I’m not even sure I realized Skip is at Fox. That’s how much these guys move around.

He's been on Fox since 2016. Leaving Stephen A Smith and ESPN to compete directly w/First Take at Fox was kind of a big sports media story at the time.

I've only seen clips on YouTube but its funny watching him become this wallflower surrounded by arguing angry black dudes.
