Is ESPN giving up on Sportscenter ?

It used to be so great when they had Mayne, Patrick, Stuart Scott (RIP Boo-yah!)
Now the 6PM (5 Central) spot is Jamille Hill and Michael Smith. Neither I consider a sports Anchor.
Am I the only one scratching my head about this? It's essentially going to make me look at FS1 or other networks that stick to highlights.

They must be... This is the worst pairing I could think of to do sportscenter... However... How much SPORTSCENTER can they actually give at 6 at night.... Again A stupid move by them but maybe they think some will love to hear about racial issues and their opinions about crap that most don't care about.....

I want to watch highlights on sports center not hear opinions and analysis. The only true place that shows highlights as it should be is the local TV sports and it's only a 5 min segment.

Remember when sportscenter was nothing but great plays from every game? Even when sportscenter does come on, you have a bunch of weird shite like Levy's Lounge or my 3 stars.

I get highlights, scores and breaking sports stories on my phone as they happen. Don't need to watch Sportscenter for an hour waiting for my teams scores and highlights anymore. Sorry but phones and multimedia killed Sportscenter. Just like it killed the nightly news and newspapers.

I got blocked from the Sports Center Instagram account earlier this afternoon for commenting "of course they have a black guy" in response to the kicker from the Raider playing piano in the background of the Sports Center SIx shoot.

I actually liked michael smith when he started with espn on around the horn.
