You do realize that NBA teams draft almost solely on potential right? Joel Embiid is a top 5 pick but he doesnt even start for Kansas

Parker may be the only one that is the best player in his own conference, and even that is debatable

Saw him for that little bit against KU, but I can't wait to watch more of him this season.

On ESPNU now. Duke has a 5 point lead over ECU with just under 5 minutes left. Parker over 20 pts for the 5th straight game. I dislike Duke but this kid is really really good.

Dude is what lebron would've looked like in college. He's on a different level than anybody on the court each game.

He's a rare talent.

I really didnt understand why wiggins got more hype than him. I cant pull for Duke ever but Parker is fun to watch just like Kyrie was for those couple games he played in college.

I think McDermott is a top 5 player in college FWIW

He's clearly the best nba prospect, but over a year other players and teams emerge. There are other great players in the ACC, that if their teams win the conference, will challenge him for Conf POY

CJ Fair could win ACC POY easily

so because he might not win confernce POY, means he's not the best player in the ACC?

I wouldnt be too surprised if CJ Fair won it, or even Rodney Hood if he really starts playing well. Mcadoo has looked good so far but he's been very uninspirational the past couple years.

mcdermott is obviously the best player in college basketball. it's college basketball, not the nba. although, i do tend to think he will be an nba role player for a while.

He has been around the 20 spot in every draft projection that I have seen "bro"

And I would say that the 20th pick is a low first round pick

I think any NBA team would welcome a guy who can shoot anywhere on the floor and rebounds well too. I think he should at leas be a lottery pick.

yeah i think i agree. i dunno enough about how the draft looks like yet to be guessing on lottery or outside of it, but he's got the size and he's an elite shooter. that normally translates to a career in the league as shooting is the 1 skill that pretty much guarantees that you have at least some value.
