Because you get good shots from the blimp. same reason every other tournament has it

Concession prices are ridiculously cheap but everything in the pro shop is on par with other organizations. Polos are $65 on the low end, $135 on the high.

I'm not expecting a polo to be $40 either just saying that what they charge is equal to other courses.

ETA you could also argue it is the exact opposite of fan friendly in that they don't really sell tickets and the secondary market is the highest ticker price in all of sports

Easy answer. Yes. Everything from the way you are treated, to the prices at concessions, to the quality of the snacks, to the actual sporting event itself. Its the best.

The price of tickets, concessions, housing, etc isnt that expensive for Augusta. The hardest part is actually getting a ticket.

And all the sandwiches are awesome. And arent they made by the women that live there? Or something along those lines?

Anyone else remember the days before pay per view, when they used to sell arena tickets for live feeds of big championship fights?

The National never had the secret recipe for the egg salad and pimento cheese and once they severed their relationship with the provider a couple of years ago they had to come up with new recipes. They are still good but not the same as the famous originals.

People would rather buy something from the Masters than probably all of the other tournaments combined.

Except for the fact that just as many, if not more, women than men play the Augusta National each year.

People who criticize Augusta would do better to look at the country clubs in New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, and California that not only refuse to have women as members, but prevent them from even entering the grounds.

Yes. The $1.50 sandwiches are the best.
