Exactly, I wish people would just stop engaging him. He's just trolling. You're never going to convince him of anything, and he's going to say ridiculous stuff just to keep you replying.

Also, the problem this thread has is that some people rank players based on resumes and others rank them based on skills and talent. Thus, half of you are talking past one another. Kobe is not a better player than LeBron prime for prime. But Kobe's resume is more impressive so far.

Also, I can't believe Laker (Kobe) fans are trying to degrade those 08-10 Laker teams just to pump up Kobe (actually I can, they do it all the time). They had Odom, Gasol and Bynum. No other team in the league had 3 7fters, much less high quality 7fters.

I don't hate Lebron nor do I like him. However how he has been acting lately it's been hard not to like him. As opposed to years past he was shown as being a dick head. I like watching him play and he's dominant but I do feel like he will have a drop off as he gets older, probably not Dwayne wade drop off but a little drop off.

No you didn't. You said better jump shooter.

quote:

James, on the other hand proceeded to go the frick off.

He played to his career averages.

quote:

Guess why Durant had such a poor shooting finals?

Durant shot 12-20, 12-22, 11-19, 9-19, and 13-24 from the field in the Finals. He shot 54.8% from the field and averaged 30.6 ppg.

Meanwhile, LeBron shot 47.2% from the field and averaged 28.6 ppg.

If anything, Durant outplayed LeBron. The Heat won because of LeBron's supporting cast. Chalmers averaged 10.4 ppg in the Finals, including 25 in Game 4 of the Finals. Battier was averaging 6 ppg during the regular season. He had 11.6 ppg in the Finals. Mike Miller didn't score over 18 points at any point during the regular season or playoffs, except for Game 5 of the Finals when he went off for 23 points.

quote:

Lebron guards other teams best player, regardless of position.

No he doesn't. When the Heat played the Magic while Dwight was there LeBron was guarding the 2/3s. He wasn't on Dwight.

quote:

Stats prove Lebron has more steals, assists, rebounds and is a more efficient scorer. What's your point?

LeBron has .1 more steals per game. He's in no way, shape, or form the more efficient scorer.

And my point is you were and still are wrong about LeBron being a better player at everything but jumpshooting.

I never said he wasn't. I've just been saying he is better than Durant by a hair and it's because of his freak athleticism. Also, the GOAT talk is just stupid.

Did I say otherwise? If so, please pull out the post where I said that anyone other than LeBron is the best basketball player right now.

Kobe's had the better career than LeBron. That's a fact. LeBron's had a better career than Durant. Also a fact. When all three are retired, we'll see how those statements hold up.

Hell kobe has been in the league ALOT longer with better teams "with exception of the last 2 and half years for bron" but no matter whose stats are better in the end. Enjoy watching all 3 now. Talent like all 3 are few and far between.

Anybody saying Durant is even remotely close defensively doesn't know basketball. In the same series LBJ guarded Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Bass, and Garnett all while averaging in the 30's offensively and scoring 50 in 3 quarters of one game. LBJ is the most versatile defender in the history of the NBA. Durant isn't even getting on NBA first teams.

Then why is Durant giving up fewer points per game?

That's because Durant let's Tabo guard the other teams best outside player. Notice Durant didn't guard LBJ in the finals. Notice LBJ guarded Durant. Also LBJ is a much more efficient offensive player. Scores the ball at a higher percentage, averages more assist, and plays point guard at times for the Heat. Loom I love KD. He's a very unique player, but LBJ is a machine.

You serious?

First of all, Bynum could barely even stay healthy back then and he wasn't the player he is now.

Second, Odom is 6'10 230 at best and even then, he's not some HOFer or even a borderline HOFer. He was a solid 6th man for them and that's it.

They don't win those titles without Odom.

Same thing

Which happens to be going the frick off for every other player in the NBA

quote:

Scored more points. Lebron averaged 28.6 pts, 10.2 reb, and 7.4 assists. That's more than 4 more rebounds and 5 more assists than Durant per game. Lebron outplayed Durant. I was wrong about Duran's shooting performance.

quote:

No he doesn't.

Yes... he does. He has guarded 5's on occasion, but also defends Derick Rose, shut him down in their last playoff matchup, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, and any 4 that might need and all NBA defender to stop. If the Heat can't stop somebody, they switch Lebron on him. Durant is decent at best as a defender.

quote:

LeBron has .1 more steals per game

Is that more or less?

Better FG% says otheerwise. A layup is much more accurate than a 15 footer.

My point is that there are other ways to get your post count up other than trolling. Have fun though.

And Durant worked him too. Shot almost 55% from the floor and averaged over 30 ppg.

No he's not.

40% of his shots come at the rim.

Cool.

He's a freak athlete with above average-good skills who gets his own special rules.

Anyone who thinks he has the best basketball skills is a damned fool. It'd be like saying Terrell Owens was better football than Jerry Rice because he was a far better athlete. Skills are what you an all-time great, not god-given physical abilities.

Because they put him on the smallest threat so he can work his magic on the other side of the court.
