He doesn't need to because he is in a perfect position. Any team that takes him will do it understanding that he needs to learn and be groomed for 2-3 (IMO).

I've been pretty adamant he would go in the first two rounds. A lot of NFL teams need a QB. If he looks good in the combine, I can't see every team passing on him twice.

His best bet IMO.. His stock can't ever be as high as it is now.......... A risky pick for sure...3rd or 4th round pick to a team that he can sit and wait for a couple years would be ideal for him....

If I were the Steelers, I'd take this hog in a heartbeat. He is Roethlisberger 2.0. It seems like OSU was much more effective with him under center than Barrett, but what do I know. I was impressed with his calmness under pressure. That is a trait you can't teach. Try teaching Dan Orlovsky that.
