Extremely stupid. If you convert you’ve still got Aaron Rodgers with a timeout and 42 seconds left just needing a FG to win and actually trying to score with 4 downs every time.
If you tie it up they won’t be as aggressive trying to score knowing you have OT. You only go for 2 there if there’s not enough time for the Packers to realistically score, I’d say under 20 seconds.

Or at least have a QB who can realize how absolutely open the dragging WR was on the play from the 2nd step of the snap.

Unless the Packers wound up with the ball inside the 10 after the kickoff, they were going to just as aggressively go after the FG if they were down 1 or the score was tied

So you think they’d go for it on 4th down from their own 30 if the game was tied? I don’t.
