Wasn't that the Weiss offense that was hurry up and beginning to change?

I thought they started doing it some with Bledsoe.

Fwiw, that is a joke. I have always said Montana is the goat QB, and Ed Reed is the GoAT NFL Player.

Brady has never been oursude the top 10 in passer rating his entire career
Rodgers has never been worse than 6th, and that was his 1st season. Brady won't win your contest if we're comparing QB ratings

and brady haters lo e to bring up the defense that helped him
Because it's so

but always seem to forget the runny pooh he had for recievers.
Kinda like Rodgers

quote:

The first time and arguably last tume the guy had a top 5 reciever in the league he broke pretty much every passing record and nearly went 19-0.
That's 1 more top 5 WR than Rodgers ever played with. And that wasn't just a top 5 WR, that was the most unguardable WR ever.

quote:

I mean c'mon guys he's hands down a top 10 qb of all time.
Brady, top 2-4

quote:

This shouldn't even be a debate of course he would olay at other places
Ah hell, I just dissected your entire post then you put this at the end? shite!!!

How would he have shown anything to teams if he didnt get the opportunity to play?
As has been posted, Brady was a top 10 QB from the his 1st season, so I think it's a safe assumption to say that practice and preseason would have caught the attention of other teams.
quote:

22 year old Brady was a 6th rounder, in our hypothetical he is a backup, and we already know he was not great at this time to "shine in those preseason games."
But he was better than you're making him out to be.

Would you like to see jacoby brissetts as well? Since he was the 3rd string qb who now starts for the bills.

my bad I agree you can make a very good argument that Rodgers is better than Brady. You have pretty much no argument that brady isn't an all time great qb.

I agree I was making a point for the other people

You can lose with either.

Would probably go with Brady. Guy has done more with less than anyone.

Great point.

When Tom Brady had Randy Moss, he still wasn't able to put up a season as good as Rodgers did when he had Jordy Nelson as his best WR.

Yet you are arguing your guts out for Brady in an NFL thread. Makes sense.

This debate reminds me of this football outsiders film room article from last season's playoffs. It's long, but a very detailed breakdown of how Rodgers consistently makes his WRs appear better than they are (also has breakdowns of specific plays). Brady couldn't dream of doing a lot of this stuff.

LINK

quote:

Rodgers has been the great equalizer in Green Bay this year. Despite the Packers' glaring flaws on the field and on the sidelines, Rodgers' play has elevated everyone around him and allowed the team to transcend logic. Take Jordy Nelson, for example. Nelson's numbers are great this year. He led the league in touchdowns. Yet Nelson has barely been able to move since returning from his ACL tear. He doesn't create separation in his routes anymore. He relies on Rodgers to throw him open, or to extend plays so that the defensive backs have to cover for a prolonged period past expectation. On the other side of the field, Davante Adams finished the regular season with the second-most touchdowns in the league -- but he dropped at least six more. Rodgers has reached such a level that he can make any move that Thompson makes look smarter than it actually is. He is consistently playing to a level that most quarterbacks never reach for even a moment during their lifetimes
