I'm going with brady mainly due to his longevity. They both have enough talent to win multiple super bowls with the right talent and coaching around them

Put Brady on most other NFL teams and he would've been out of the league in 3-4 years. Put Rodgers on any NFL team and he's very likely going to get them to the playoffs.

Rodgers

For those that say Brady due to the rings, are yall actually arguing that Rodgers wouldnt have had the same success in New England?

Let me present to you my data I ran

Passer rating rank

Scoring Offense rank

Time of possession rank

Now, those last 3 charts were all things the QB has control over.

Here is SCORING defensive rankings, which is half of a football game that the QB HAS ZERO CONTROL OVER. Maybe this is why Brady wins more than the other elite Qbs......... As you can see, down at the bottom, the one year Rodgers had a top 5 defense he won the Super Bowl

I wasn't saying because of the wins, I was saying because I know for a fact now that if I draft him at 21 I'm basically getting 2 decades of good qb play it's a stupid hypothetical I know

I don't think that it is. After all, it's just my OPINION.

Spin-off thread: if you're building a team who do you pick at age 21. Brady or Rodgers

So we get to know what we know now?

Rodgers, easy. Rodgers over any player in the history of the NFL at 21 if I get to know ahead of time their production/efficiency.

Opinions can be wrong.

Example:

Your opinion on Tom Brady is wrong.

Rodgers because of his ability to escape and create plays. Brady would struggle much more than Rodgers if stuck behind a shitty line.

Speaking in absolutes on something completely hypothetical? You're wrong.

Will Rodgers have sitting behind Favre for a few years in this scenario? Because no doubt that has helped him greatly.

Why is that "no doubt"

There's no reason to think he wouldn't be just as good today if he started a couple of seasons sooner.

At 21, anyone with logic and intelligence picks A-Rod the dude was a first round draft pick for a reason and one could make a very strong argument he should’ve been the no. 1 overall over Alex Smith. Dude was a baller at Cal submitting crazy good numbers and had all the tangibles/intangibles then, Brady lacked the tangibles hence why he was drafted 6th round. Finished product over speculated upside analysis.

It's my OPINION that your OPINION is shite and would get you laughed at by anybody with any football knowledge what so ever.

Brady did have a fantastic defense when he first started, but people who would have burned out in the first 4 years don't have top 10 QB seasons at age 36 plus.
