Baylor could eliminate those FBS games in ooc and replace them with p5 opponents
12 games total all vs p5 >
13 games total and 2 vs FBS
As such they do not need a conference cg.

Big 12 has to go to 12 & add a title game. There are only bad options to add, so what little prestige the conference has left will be obliterated.
Texas should go independent, OU should go to the SEC, and this conference should be nuked from orbit.

The Big XII isn't fighting to do anything... its teams are... why should their teams get punished by the CFP committee for something they have no control over?

B1G would be a disaster. A conference stretching from New Jersey to Texas and having 16 or more teams? That's a setup for schism.

Are they really though? This isn't much different than their arrangement with the old Big East and they were never going to fully join that conference.
You don't think the ACC, Pac 12, or Big 10 would do a scheduling deal w/Texas?
