Everytime one of these teams are anointed in the preseason they never make it.

They would get passed over for a 1 loss SEC/Big 12 team

I think people need to stop freaking out. Every year, there is a team that people assume will go undefeated. And every year they choke or someone on their schedule is better than we thought.

This Louisville team lost to Syracuse and UConn last year.

You should. No way in hell they should make the championship game over a one loss SEC, big12 or big 10 team. UL has a joke of a schedule.

Considering that it's the only reason y'all got anything in 03, you certainly should.

No, not one team in the top 40 on their schedule. In fact, UK is the best team they will face.

Rutgers, UCF, and Cincy are all better than UK. Ohio might be too. At best UK is UConn. Right now they may as well be Temple.

They return a ridiculous amount of starters... I think 16. And Fitzgerald is a boss. Would love to see them put together a BCS season (as long as they don't do so at the expense of Ohio State).

USC was #1 in both polls, but the Coaches were forced by the BCS to put LSU at #1 instead (even after USC handily won their bowl game).

They won't go undefeated first of all, second of all, they will need for there to be no more than one undefeated in the BCS conferences and if a one loss champ from a BCS conference is also a part of the #1 BCS conference(likely the SEC), they could remain ahead of Louisville as well

Better question: Why are so many of their games on television?

Because the fix is on.

Louisville vs LSU.

How much will their basketball and baseball success be talked about to try and justify placing their football team in the title game?
