I say you get 2 pitchers per game you can use and for every extra one you put in you forfeit a run. Way too much time being wasted. If game goes extra innings there would be an exception.

No 7th inning stretch.

No DH No Pinch runner/hitter

What would you do?

I'd get rid of the offsides rule and make the goal bigger.

Make it a 100 game season. Is baseball still going on? Haven't watched a highlight since football started.

I'd put targets in the outfield, and if you hit them, it's an automatic double or triple. Kinda like a three pointer in hoops.

In order to get someone out, instead of throwing to the bag, you'd need to hit them with the ball.

I'd make the coach wear the same ridiculous uniform the players wear...cuz that would look funny...oh wait.

Romania actually has a very similar sport to baseball called Oina which actually seems to be a much more interesting, fast-paced sport. Basically the pitchers have to serve up pitches to the batters underhanded softball style. After hitting the ball, the hitter has to run through 120 yards through nine bases to score a point. The really interesting part is that the pitching/defensive team can score points by hitting the runner with the ball.

quote:

Romanians claim oina was invented by shepherds in the first century and say documents from 1310 describe a variation of the game called oina being played in southern Romania.

Oina has 11 men per side, with one team batting and the other in the field. Each side is allowed one at-bat, in which all 11 players take the plate.

A pitcher is provided by the team at bat and he serves up a lazy underhand toss. The batter tries to hit the ball as far as possible, then has to run 120 yards through nine bases.

But if the batter is tagged by a fielder or hit by a thrown ball, the fielders can score points - so teams can score even while not at bat.

Oina uses a ball almost the same size as a baseball but filled with horse hair. The bat is similar to a cricket bat and fielders do not wear gloves.
