I think the Bears will be a playoff contender

Glennon or Tribisky, I expect QB play to be vastly improved. I think the defense is gong to be pretty damn good. Big questions are oline and WRs

The over/under is 5.5 I just checked online, its -140 on under 5.5 not sure wtf you see that makes you think otherwise. I haven't seen anything that makes me think they're gonna surprise anyone. John Fox sucks and Glennon looked awful last week, I think he threw a pick 6 on his first attempt

He looked pretty effective tonight. Offense moved the ball on Phoenix. and the starting defense was all over the place causing havoc on the field

I would say defense. I see plays being made. This looks like a completely different team than last year.

They are almost likely going to be one of the worst 3 teams in the league, and yet you think they win 8-10 games?

I would take the over, John Fox has been a NFL HC for the last 15 years, he won 7+ games in 12/15 those seasons. 2 of those 3 seasons were the past two with the Bears.
A playoff contender yes-
There are 16 NFC teams, six will make the playoffs. An additional six NFC teams will be 'playoff contenders'
Bears could be in that number.

They should be much improved but not sure they can finish ahead of some of the other wild card probables. The first team d looks like theirs playing fast and up front they're physical but Glennon will probly start early and that's going to set them back. 7-9 wins is possible but I think the NFC wildcard teams will come out of the East and South this season.

They're likely going to suck again, even if Trubisky gets snaps and is decent. The defense is a mess.

Yes, GB should win the division, but the Bears can win enough games to be a 'playoff contender'
Factor in the odds that either Bradford, Rodgers, Stafford, get injured?
