Kyrie could play better defense standing still. At least he might get in the way.

Dion hasn't played all night. I feel like Byron Scott is standing on the sideline with his arms crossed.

Dion passed the ball. LeBron scored. This is a moment. #Cavs within 3

Dion Waiters just recorded his first assist in 10 quarters, took 25 shots in between them.

Yes. The hate would reach unseen levels, and he would know that this time around.

Aaaaaaaaaand here come the Cavs.

Don't disagree with your post though. But it's very very early.

I think their ability to rebound will be huge during this growing period. I believe that's something Miami was never consistent at.

Tonight they have 4 assists to Utah's 18, good grief!

I just don't know how people consider Kyrie an elite player as a PG when he can barely average over 5.5 assists in a game.

Sure he can score, but a lot of guys in the NBA can score, and his defense is highly suspect.

Yup. And most NBA front court players can score if they have the ball every possession (point guard role). Kyrie could be very overrated. He's been putting up big stats for a team that sucks. Hopefully, he figures things out.

The whole team combined has 6 assists. That's incredible.

Kyrie's court presence is pretty good isn't it? With his scoring ability and quickness, he should be able to find open guys easier than he does.

It's hard to register assists when Kyrie dribbles out the shot clock every time he touches it.

Yes. And usually if you are a scoring threat, guys are open. This is not like the Thunder who need Westbrook to score. The Cavs have Kevin Love and LeBron. They need a point guard who can distribute.

I thought everyone who thought they had a chance to win a championship this year was crazy. I kept hearing it, "Love gives them the best chance to win a championship this year." What does that matter if they can't win it?

Should've just kept Wiggins, who looked pretty damn good tonight by the way. Maybe if you trade anyone it's Kyrie's sorry arse.

I don't know why people think that either.

They can win 47/48 games and get a 2-3 seed. It's way too early to write them off.

They do need a backup pg though. A distributor, the white kid who backs up kyrie belongs in the d league
