This thread has gone full retard. The one constant in the patriots success in Belichick. The Patriots record without Brady over the years comes out to around a 75% winning rate. The QB production with Brady out only dips around 10% (compared to 40% decrease without Brees, 25% without Manning and Rodgers).

Brady also has played with more pro-bowlers than Peyton Manning - TWICE as many on the lines and on defense (where "team" winning really happens).

To say Brady has done more with less is factually false.

How many different head coaches has he taken to the super bowl? Manning took 4.

Manning fan boys are out already?

At least wait until game week. You're gonna blow your load way early.

Brady has actually accomplished less with more, if you actually look at the data.

But you just said going to the Super Bowl was a team accomplishment.

It is, but even if you place heavy emphasis on it, manning is more impressive.

False.

That 2000 season doesn't just not count.

Yeah I like how people ignore the fact that ole Bill has a losing record without Brady as a head coach.

They were 5-11 in 2000. Started 0-2 in 2001.

Went 11-5 in 2008. Went 3-1 this year with Brady out.

That comes out to 19-19 without Brady during Belichick's career in New England.

Brady may have sat some random games at the end of the season that may add a few more games to this, but I'm not close enough to the Patriots to know/remember.

His years with the Browns count too.

Yep. Bill Belichick was 5-11 with the Patriots in 2000 when Brady rode the bench as a rookie QB. The very next year, with Brady as the starter for much of the season, they go 11-5 and win the Super Bowl.

The 2008 New England Patriots would have been 14-2 or 15-1 had Brady been under center. It was practically the same team that went 16-0 the year before. Instead they missed the playoffs that year.

I responded to a poster who was talking about the Patriots without Brady, so I'm not counting those.

Brady couldn't quite hear what you said about meaningless data, he has four super bowl rings in his ear. And probably about to shove another super bowl ring in his ear in a couple weeks to make that an all time record for NFL QBs.

Get real man. Tom Brady has typically played on a team with a good defense. He's also had a ton of good playmakers over the years (Branch, Moss, Welker, Stallworth, Gronk, Hernandez). Compare that to Drew Brees who's best two playmakers were a 7th round TE converted to a WR (Colston). And a third round TE who played one year of college football (Graham). Brees has truly done more with less and it's not even debatable. Brady is the most overrated QB of all time.

Belichick would have been fired if Bledsoe didn't get hurt in '01

I agree. Montana had Rice, Taylor, Jones, Rathman, and Craig. Brady has a bunch of white guys.

Nope

Montana wasn't a proven cheater nor did he play in an era where QBs were treated like delicate snowflakes.
