And? You say that like Chandler was an offensive weapon. Dalembert isn't as tough as Chandler was but Tyson wasn't all that great last year. Plus Felton is gone too and Calderon is a MUCH better PG.

Hardaway Jr will be better. Melo will be better in the triangle, especially with Calderon.

The Knicks will be a better team next year as it stands right now.

This is just stupid. He has a much better shot at A Title with Chicago than he will with the Knicks .

Well yeah as long as Noah and Rose are with the Bulls and Rose stays healthy..... Melo as a #1 option isn't winning anything and he would have to learn how to defer to another man. He has played on piss poor teams and he has been forced to be the man/throw up 20+ shots a game for any chance to win, can he change that mentality? Will he play defense?

Depends if he takes the Knicks money or not. IF the Knicks think he is the answer, they are crazy.

He is to a point to where he needs to go somewhere that he can be a very productive player with others around him. YES. Chicago is a perfect place for him. BUT He is Melo. He cares very little about titles and ALL about the coin.

Carmelo Anthony is one of the top 5 offensive players of this generation. Jesus Christ, do you people even watch basketball?

Melo haters, tell me who he has had to help him win a championship. Are we gonna argue whether or not he can win one by himself? Even the mythical MJ couldn't do that. Only one man has achieved the feat. Different game now.
chauncey billups, bird man, nene, k-mart, inverson, JR smith, Tyson chandler, Marcus camby, Kidd, shumpert.

Melo's biggest problem is he's a flawed player. He doesn't defend or rebound. So a team built around him will be flawed, bc you need people to do the dirty work Carmelo won't do. Think about it, if Tyson chandler was as good offensively as he was defensively, he would be the superstar. But he's not. He was there to defend the rim while melo''s guy blew by him. So you have a team chalk full of defensive players and catch and shoot offensive guys and melo to do the scoring. When melo can't get it done, melo jock sniffers always say "but there's no one there to help score." Ya-- bc they all have to stop the other team from scoring bc melo thinks he shouldn't have to. All he wants to do is dominate the ball and jack shots. He gets what he wants, but when the results aren't what everyone wants, it's never his fault

On top of that, he wants max money, limiting the quality of the players who can play along side him.

hes a gifted scorer. But basketball is more than putting ball through the hoop. If he scores 30, but gives up 27, he's not all that valuable

Not if you factor in offensive efficiency.

And I think that's the most important aspect of a player's game in today's NBA. Miami and SA have been masters at offensive efficiency over the past couple of years.
