Probably more of LSU-Alabama. Michigan has a really good defense. I don't think they could move the ball on Alabama though.

Does Michigan have a defense?

Then I'd say they'd hold up pretty well

Harbaugh is pretty creative on offense and knows when to take shots downfield.

I think it would be a really good game. That being said, we've seen time after time how Alabama does when they go up against offenses like this and it's usually a blowout.

Michigan has barely played 1 full game against Wisconsin.. Would be interested to see their starters play an intense 60 minute game .

They wouldn't be able to run for a yard against Bama, so it would come down to Speight carrying them. He's getting better and has a nice receiver crew, but not sure he could take the heat. On the other side of the ball, I would say Michigan could keep your typical Bama team in check, but Hurts is the kind of guy that can torch them.

Michigan would get bombed. No one can beat Bama. Certainly not Michigan, who is just a weaker version of LSU in a worse conference.

Do I need to remind you that Michigan beat Wisconsin and LSU didn't? That said, yeah, I think the 21-7 type predictions are about right.

Michigan hasn't played anyone with a pulse besides Wisconsin.

They played #15 Colorado and #12 Penn State (who they beat the brakes off of).

I also don't think they match up well with Bama. Ohio State or Clemson would probably give the tide more problems.

agree, i think speight is better than etling, but even so, he'd take a beating and would commit a costly turnover or two.

it comes down to matchups. Michigan is practically Bama-lite in the B1G. They outphysical the shite out of you defensively and are relentless. Offensively though, they fall straight into bama's wheelhouse...it would mirror the LSU game, but I think Michigan would at least score a TD

Harbaugh takes a back seat to nobody as far as being a great coach goes. That said not sure if he has the depth yet to go toe to to with Bama. In a few years he will though.
