Dude James harden lead a team to the playoffs whose next two best players were chandler parsons in year 2 of his career and omer asik. pels only made the playoffs bc OKC was all banged up.

Oh quick you bring up injuries when it's convenient for you. But don't mention that the only reason you made the playoffs is bc of OKCs injuries. oh pels fans

They were a 45 win team which in the vast majority of years makes the playoffs.

This year the 8 seed will likely have 38ish wins at best.

Why am I responding to you?

So were the Pelicans, yet the Pelicans made it and OKC didn't.

See how that works?

That Rockets team was way better than the 14-15 Birds. That isn't even on the same level as what Davis did.

Harden leading a team full of guys who were cast offs from other organisations to the 3rd best record in the league. And winning the MVP on his way. James is a winner. Davis a loser. Even in HS his team won games at a 35% clip

Never said that that wasn't a factor.

Besides I don't believe any team that isn't over .500 deserves to make the playoffs so 45 wins is legit to me.

I remember a certain team last year making it with a .500 record. And I could even say it could have been because the Pelicans had injuries to literally all of our starters and sixth man. So really your Rockets only got in last year because the Pels couldn't get healthy.

You really make this too easy Boom.

One team was missing a top 3 player. The other team was missing guys like Gordon and Anderson who you thought were trash remember when you didn't think CC would field a solid D this year? Yea me too we 70% through the season Bubba.

If you switched Harden and Davis alone, that Rockets team would still be much, much better. It isn't even remotely close.

Yep. Leadership skills shows up in the win column. When you see big time talents who can't win it's a dead give away that they aren't leaders.

Great leaders show up in the biggest games. They don't disappear, fold, and quit while their team gets shitkicked on the biggest stage.

Any team with harden will be better than a team with Davis with the same supporting cast. Harden is a playmaker. Davis has to get the ball in spots where he can score. A ball dominant guard is more valuable than a big in today's NBA..

Yep. That's why harden has played some of the best games of his career in elimination games.

Injuries are injuries. Both teams were injured. OKC had a top 10 player still.

So did the Pels.

It is easily comparable. The Pels made the playoffs with their top 10 player.

OKC didn't.

Oh, really? His only decent game in the finals was his second one. If he had better intangibles, he could have generated wins.

Harden had a game with a 41 game score when CC was facing elimination v GSW in WCF. for comparison purposes AD only has 3 of those games in his whole career. So safe to say harden brings it when his team is facing elimination.
