How will history view the Warriors going 73-9 now?

Basically.

Great regular season that couldn't close the deal and will only help elevate the team they were trying to dethrone.

Mariners.

They will be somewhat forgotten.

I don't think they will be viewed like the Pats, A LOT of people still argue they were the best team ever who had one bad day that happened to be the SB.

Nobody will argue GS was the bed ever.

Meh, it sucks for them, but they'll be remembered for a long time, even if it's always in a "yeah, but..." sort of way.

I will always view it as the team that had the misfortune of having Harrison Barnes on it.

Footnote. Will only get brought up if anyone approaches the record or anyone looks to be cruising to a title then comes up short.

Everytime "73-9" is brought up, people will mention it doesn't matter without a ring. 95 bulls are still the greatest team. Warriors will fade back into obscurity.

Yeah, you're probably right.

Basketball is a different thing than baseball. They won't get as bad as treatment as the Mariners.
