How nervous do you get during your team's football games?

I have gotten a lot better over the years (generally because I became numb to all the shitty play), but there was once a point when I could not eat during games because I was so nervous. I also once had a phase where I refused to watch my team kick the ball off because I was scared the other team was going to return it. My father used to change the channel during key third down plays when we were on defense.

Anyone here have pretty bad nervous habits while watching?

During a really big game i'll pace a lot and or talk with the people i'm with about what we should do given the down and distance.

I'm always at them, so not as nervous. I understand that it's a long game.

Exactly. I have seasons so home games I don't get too nervous I just enjoy it and have fun. Away games I can't sit down. It's all fun tho. One more week!

Big games I usually watch in a dark room with Hawthorne on.

I can't handle the Verne dickriding if LSU is losing.

Very. I'm superstitious. I usually end up changing my outfit 3-4 times. Sometimes I turn the channel because I think if I stop watching they'll do better. I yell a lot, also. Sometimes I throw things…haven't done that in a while though..

as the years go by, not much at all.

LSU games still make the blood pump a little faster but i've learned to just sit back and watch saints and pro games from an analytical standpoint

It's just a game played by a bunch of kids. Once you realize that, it isn't that hard to deal with.

It used to be really bad for me, but it has gotten better over the years.

I don't really get too nervous during basketball games unless it is a playoff game or it is the 4th quarter.

I am a mess during soccer games, but I largely blame that on the team that I support.

I have to watch big LSU games alone or with a small crowd at home. My emotions swing too much.

frickING THIS

I usually prefer to watch them alone cause when I watch around people inevitably someone says something dumb and bc of my heightened emotional state I'll jump down their throat and overreact. It's best just to leave me alone

I'm more nervous before games. I'm an a-hole on Saturdays until my butt is in the seat. For road games, I'm not pleasant for about an hour before games. Once they kickoff, I'm OK.

I don't put up with BS. I'm probably not very well liked by the people I sit around because I'll call them out. I do get into games and move around a bit. When watching at home, I kick everyone out. Watch in silence. I prepare myself for losing every game. I've already prepared losing to ULM.
