GT (#1 in rushing 327.0 ypg) vs.
AirForce (#2 in rushing 317.9 ypg)

I'm thinking over 650 total rushing yards.

What says the MSB?

Waaaaay under 650. You forget, these teams roll up rushing yards against teams with conventional offenses who stop the clock with incomplete passes. When both teams run the ball, if they're successful they grind out the clock, meaning fewer possessions.

yeah, if only GT was as good on offense as say, LSU. Oh wait, GT had more passing TDs and less INTs than LSU, and averaged 414.5 yards/game to LSU's 334.6.

Josh Nesbitt - 6.4ypa, 7 TD, 4 INT 105.4 rating
Jordan Jefferson - 6.6ypa, 4 TD, 9 INT, 109.7 rating

GT - 327 rush yards/game, 30 TD; 87.5 pass yards/game 9 TD/6 INT

LSU - 179.2 rush yards/game, 27 TD; 155.4 pass yards/game, 7 TD/10 INT

Wouldn't it be pretty easy for these teams to prepare for each other defensively? And we all know what happens to the triple option when you have a month to prepare to play disciplined assignment football.

where does LSU come into this?

either way, i dislike just about everything about LSU's offense. Crowton is horrible, QBs are horrible, RB is overrated, WR drop passes, OL is mediocre.

I said it would be a top 10 bowl game, you laughed, I'm pointing out that some top teams have horrible, boring offenses.
